A native iOS home for the stack LunaSea used to run.
LunaSea was archived in April 2025 and pulled from the stores. Quartermaster is a native iOS controller for the same self-hosted media stack — built new for iOS 26.
What happened to LunaSea
- LunaSea's GitHub repository was archived on 3 April 2025.
- Its App Store, Play Store and Snapcraft builds were unpublished — no new installs.
- The hosted notification service, accounts and backups were shut down on 30 April 2025.
Live and maintained
LunaSea is archived; Quartermaster is in active development with a public roadmap — beta now, with regular updates.
The Stuck Download Doctor
When a download finishes but never imports, Quartermaster names the cause — import-blocked, a sample taken for the film, a naming clash — and offers the fix inline.
